What to do to fight off a Cold or the Flu
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 9:30AM This is the time of year when the weather changes, we get warm days and cool damp nights. Just the weather the flu and cold viruses love. Also children go back to school and mingle again with lots of other people’s bugs.
In the News today scientists have discovered that antibodies do attach to viruses so they can be at destroyed by the immune system, even when they go into the tissues of the body. So rather than wait for the 10 years it will take to create a drug to help, now is the time to build up your own immune system.
Vita min C, Vitamin D and the Glyconutrients are all good immune support substances. However, they all need to eaten in the food form state that the body can absorb and in the right amounts. This might mean you need to eat 10 oranges a day, or spend 4 hours sunbathing or drink litres of Aloe Vera or breast milk, which are all the natural sources. Or you could take a high quality nutritional supplement.
