Meditation
Meditation is about learning to focus on an object, a thought or a task without judgment and in a controlled way. Practicing this technique helps you learn to look at situations objectively, which will then enable you to find solutions to problems, turn negative situations into positive learning experiences and create your own positive mindset. As a result of this you can make new friends, reach goals and handle problems more easily.
Visualisation is a guided meditation which is very suitable for people new to meditation.
It is helpful to practice meditation in a group so you can share your experiences and learn from other people.
Meditation Group in Carshalton Beeches, Surrey
We hold a Meditation Group once a month. If you want to learn to meditate, to improve your Meditation skills, or just want to come along and practice with other supportive people, you are very welcome to join us.
The support of the group allows everyone to develop their skills at their own pace. New techniques are introduced and previous exercises are practiced each evening.
We meet at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
